Come Play in the WORLD'S ONLY OMAHA SLUMPBUSTER PAID BERTH QUALIFIER! Compete with the best in the Southwest for a chance to win a FREE entry into the Largest Youth Baseball Event in the World! The Omaha SlumpBuster

This event has a 15-year history of being the true testing ground for teams in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana as they shake off the rust from wintertime and start to get serious about the year to come. Triple Crown has established relationships with field complexes, umpire groups and well-located hotels to make this an easy "yes" for teams ready to make a mark in their age group.

Any team who pays or pencils into D2 or D3 will receive a short, 4-minute survey about your team. Triple Crown requires all teams to fill this survey out to ensure teams are playing in the correct divisions!

Omaha SlumpBuster Qualifier FAQs
Is there a team limit on a division to win the SlumpBuster qualifier?
  • Yes, there needs to be a minimum of 10 teams in a division to have a SlumpBuster entry Qualification. Any division with less than 10 teams is eligible to win a free entry into the 2023 Aggieland Challenge held in College Station and Bryan on May 20-21. If your division is sold out for the Aggieland Challenge, your registration will roll over to 2024.
What if my team splits before the 2024 season? Do we all get a free entry into the SlumpBuster?
  • No, the head coach is entitled to a free entry into the Omaha SlumpBuster. If the team splits, changes names, etc. the head coach listed on the team for 2023 is the one with the free entry. If the coach is not coaching in 2024, whatever team he is associated with (as a parent of a player) will be eligible for the SlumpBuster Entry.
I want to go to the 2023 SlumpBuster instead, is that possible?
  • Yes, if your team is already paid into the Omaha SlumpBuster or wants to attend and can register for a division that is not sold out, you can apply your entry to the 2023 SlumpBuster. By the time March comes around, finding affordable lodging in Omaha becomes very difficult, so please be aware of that when making plans.
How do I redeem the free entry?
  • Teams need to register and pay for the Omaha SlumpBuster. The head coach will receive a check for the value of a 4-game entry fee at Team Check In during the SlumpBuster.
Why do we need to pay to register?
  • To ensure that your team shows up. In order for Triple Crown to hold a spot we need payment in hand. You will receive full value for a 4-game option entry at Team Check In.
I see multiple brackets in my division, do we all get an entry if we win?
  • No. If a division is large enough to have multiple brackets, only the HIGHEST BRACKET is eligible for the SlumpBuster Qualifier. For example, if there are 24 teams and we do two brackets of 12 teams, only seeds 1-12 have a chance to compete for a SlumpBuster Qualifier. Make sure to give it your all in pool play for a chance to land in the top bracket.
Is this qualifier for the 4-game or 6-game option?
  • This is for the 4-game guarantee option. Any team wanting to play in the 6-game just needs to register for the 6-game option and will be responsible for the extra $200.
My team isn’t going to Omaha next year, can I give my entry to another team or club?
  • No, there are no transfer of entries between teams. Even if both teams are a part of the same club/organization, you cannot transfer the entry fee.
I want cash value instead, is that allowed?
  • No, teams can redeem for an entry into the Omaha SlumpBuster or treat it as a normal tournament win.
I don’t think that team should be playing in my division, they are too good!
  • Triple Crown vets any team signed up for D2 or D3. We checked their division with a questionnaire and researched their team on other sanctioning bodies prior to making the schedule to ensure fair competition.
I need more information, who can I contact?
